The Quick and the Dead - 2 days later

I began implementing the process outlined in "The Quick and The Dead" by Scott Boulch. Since he's only released Part 1, I don't know his complete approach yet.

In Part 1, he instructs us on how to determine the product and userid of an affiliate marketer by viewing the html source of the search results page in google. We build a spreadsheet that we use to track ad position over 7 - 30 days. I think what we are going to do is find the successful ads (which we will know by their staying power both in days and in position). I think what we are going do to in Part 2 ("The Gunfight") is then begin to run the same ad, for the same product, and track the results for every keyword we use, individually, in our adwords account!

By tracking our results by keyword, we can then eliminate the keywords that don't produce results, thereby freeing up more money to either put into our pockets, or spend on bidding up keywords that do produce results. Very tricky, and potentially very effective.

I do find the whole process tedious, and with my new glasses a little difficult on the eyes. I'm going to stick with this program though, and work a few affiliates over! Hahaha.

I had thought about tracking each keyword in some of my campaigns, but I always opted for the easy way out, not wanting to set up a keyword for each ad in my google adwords. He claims he has an automated system that he is going to roll out sometime in the future, which I am sure is what he is going to be selling to us. It will be worth it for the serious affiliate marketer.

I just returned from another amazing Peak Potentials training seminar, called Never Work Again.

Liberty League International Income Disclosure

Here's what they don't tell you when you sign up. Any business where 80% of active distributors are making an averate of $7000 per year, when the income claims are "Six Figure Income" has got something off. The Liberty League business model just doesn't work. 48% of all the sales are made by the top 5% of the distributors - of course - they have lasted long enough to have a downline orgainization that is feeding them these sales. They can afford the massive advertising it takes to get the numbers of leads it takes to make any money with LLI.

Me, I would rather work with a company that has a balance of income, distributor percentage and sales percentage, not this lopsided setup that Liberty League has.

Liberty League could set this straight by lowering the cost of it's products, having a better quality product (Beyond Freedom needs editing, less testimoial and more action on the CDs, and more structure), and having conferences that have more impact than the current ones.

Here's more misinformation about Liberty League International. Liberty League associates are not required to recruit other members. However, most associates start with Liberty League intending to operate it as a business, which is different than recruiting. The problems that are faced by assoicates is that a lot of people looking for home businessess (a) are not interested in personal development; or (b) don't have the money to get started with LLI; or (c) found that you can get personal development for a lot cheaper than LLI costs (see here: Secrets of the Millionaire Mind)

We found that the 5% rule applies - 5% of the people involved in the business will make 95% of the income. As far as I am concerned, that is a lousy business model.

It's really easy to cast aspersions. Since LLI settled, there is still a presumption of innocence (legally). Of course small thinkers, looking for reasons why something is bad will conclude differently. How does the Editor of the Trii-Zine Ezine know what she is talking about? Was she/is she an LLI associate? And why did she not just publish the actual press release?

Another thing not mentioned, but could be found out by reading the actual press release, is that this all came about because a competitor complained about LLI making income claims on thier web site. How many MLM companies are making income claims? Is this competitor going after all the others? Hmmmmm.... Success breeds resentment. Do I smell sour grapes?
