PR Web you must pay at least a buck to get a listing.
24-7 you can go for free, the $45 listing gives a lot of bang for the buck.
Free-Press Release.com you must pay something to get a web link.
Click2NewSites is pretty simple but looks like you need to pay something for any kind of real service. Make sure you put the location and Date of release in your first line. Looks like you can put straight html in there. No industry specific listiings, these are just bulk releases.

WebWire.com
Free Registration
Up to 400 words 9.95 on Webpost which gets you posted on Google news and thier database, no keywords though. For keywords and "WebRelease" cost 49.00 it's a sponsored link on Google with keywords you specify. You get 4 monts or 150 clickthroughs whichever comes first. Not so good if your keyword costs on ppc are .05 or .10 per click.
Instant publication
PR Leap. These guys seem to have thier promo act together Free once you becom a member.
Do not release a duplicate from Business Wire, PR Newswire, or PR Web (if it was included in Google news).

Auto trade category is a bit faster paced, with the last entry form 2/27.

Auto Parts, Repair and Aftermarket last intry from 11/22/05

ArriveNet - lots of cheesy stuff on site. Free, except if you want live links, which cost $14.95.... Otherwise, does not look like you need html, seems to follow your input formatting. Submitted 14 mar with one link, look and see if it works or not.

The Open Press - was under attack, could not register. Site looks pretty nice, not a lot of listing isn the RV category.

Press World costs 9.95 to register. They need a spell checker. You do get a link outside the body of your message. Sign up later, after you make some money.
